News

At BioMetrics we approach our work as a team effort, so in this section we will be sharing information about our company with our patients, those considering using our services, and the community at large.

We plan to keep updating this section with general news about our company, as well as information about additional training and certifications earned by our staff, conventions we attend, inservicing we provide to health care providers, and events we sponsor or participate in. If other news comes up that we think would fit here, we’ll be sure to include it.

BioMetrics has added Peter Pocsi as our new prosthetic technician.
Originally from Transylvania (then a part of Hungary), Peter has worked with prosthetics since 1993, and came into the field following a serious car accident which required his son to use leg braces. Over the course of many visits, his son’s orthotist was impressed by Peter’s creativity and dedication to his son. Peter, then a carpenter, was approached to join their team as a technician. Following his intensive training, Peter became a certified prosthetic technician. Peter is a talented craftsman who takes pride in his work and enjoys creating the best possible designs for his patients.

We are pleased to announce the addition of Diane Fico to our team. Diane is our new Patient Insurance Liason. Diane is responsible for generating insurance approvals, as well as negotiating with insurance companies so the patient doesn’t need to. Navigating the intricacies of insurance can be a challenge, so we are pleased to have a staff person dedicated to that task. Our goal is to make things as easy as possible for our patients to ensure they are getting exactly what they need.
